A diplomat has been killed in a shooting at the Nigerian embassy in the Czech capital, Prague, police say. Another person, an embassy clerk, was injured by a shot to the hand. A 72-year-old Czech suspect is in custody, police say. The dead man has been named as 50-year-old Michael Lekara Waylaid, Nigeria’s consul in the Czech Republic. Police said he was shot in his office and died on the spot from his injuries. There was no immediate word on the motive for the attack, which occurred at about noon. Full Story
