Indonesian police have presented prosecutors with a dossier of evidence against a suspect accused of co-ordinating last October’s Bali bombings, which killed at least 194 people. In the 1,046-page document, police said the suspect, Ali Gufron – also known as Mukhlas – planned, financed, and carried out the attacks. They said the evidence included statements from more than 200 witnesses. Police also claim Mukhlas was the operations chief of Jemaah Islamiah (JI), the militant organisation thought to be behind the bombings. He is one of three brothers arrested in the wake of the attacks, and faces the death penalty if convicted. Full Story
