Pakistani police were aided by the FBI in the raid. Pakistani police have arrested an Arab man in the south-western city of Quetta on suspicion of links with al-Qaeda. The raid, undertaken with the help of FBI agents, took place on a home on the outskirts of the city on Thursday afternoon. Police in Balochistan province refused to comment on the man’s nationality. Separately, Pakistani officials said they had handed to the ISI military intelligence group evidence against a Lahore-based doctor and members of his family arrested for alleged links to terrorism.
