U.S. Warns of Future Attacks in Colombia
The State Department on Saturday warned Americans to be vigilant for possible future attacks in Colombia and blamed the rebel group FARC for a bomb attack at a club in Bogota on Friday night. “The United States embassy in Bogota is urging all U.S. citizens in Colombia, especially those in the major cities, to remain vigilant against the possibility of terrorist attacks,” the State Department said. “The bombing of the Club Nogal in Bogota last night is believed to be part of the urban terrorism campaign by the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC),” it said. “Further such attacks are likely.” Full Story
