Bombing Brings War To Colombia's Elite
Carlos Fuentes rose early today to search for his brother-in-law’s wife in the ashes of the bombed Club El Nogal. Fuentes clutched a creased photograph of Luisa Solarte smiling in a blue satin evening gown. The only other information he could provide rescue workers about Solarte, who was a Coca-Cola executive and newlywed, was that she had been on the fifth-floor squash courts when the building exploded just after 8 p.m. Friday.
