A Justice Department official — responding to a Saudi offer to arrange an interview with a terror suspect’s wife — said Thursday the department was interested in talking to the woman, who left the country with the Saudi Embassy’s assistance. Maha Hafeez al Marri, 30, left the United States in November after the Saudi Embassy in Washington issued new passports to her and her five children. U.S. officials had confiscated their previous passports to prevent Marri and her children from leaving the country.
