The proof tying Saddam Hussein to al-Qaeda terrorists lies just over a dun-colored ridge here in the shadow of towering Shinerwe Mountain, Iraq’s ethnic Kurds say. The valley beneath the peak holds the village of Biara and 13 other hamlets controlled by a bloody extremist group known as Ansar al-Islam.
