TRANSPORT experts have warned that a new website showing how to hack into traffic light computer systems could wreak havoc in London. The site gives step-by-step information on how to break through security checks and rephase individual signals or groups of lights. The Mayor’s office described it as ‘incredibly irresponsible’. It even tells drivers how to use a car-based laptop to turn red lights green to speed their journey. A Transport for London spokes-man said every possible measure was being taken to protect TfL’s new London Traffic Control Centre, but admitted no computer network was totally secure. Full Story
