Encouraging its readers to visit Dutch Radio 538’s website at a fixed time on the evening of February 4th, weblogger Retecool.com paralysed the radio’s web server and put it out of action for more than an hour. The content management service provider assisted these enthusiastic visitors by posting a ‘script’ (a computer program to automate a process) on its website, making access to Radio 538’s site faster and easier.
