India Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani called Tuesday on the international community to ostracize nations that flout U.N. resolutions on terrorism. However, the Indian official also expressed strong opposition to unilateral military action in Iraq. In a reference to the tense relationship between India and Pakistan over Kashmir, Advani said he did not expect the world to intervene. “It’s a problem India faces on its own,” he said, “but I do expect that a conscious approach should be adopted by the whole world to see that those who violate U.N. resolutions on terrorism are not given assistance by any country.
