Six suspects in last week’s ambush shooting that killed an American military contract worker have led Kuwaiti police to a stash of weapons and ammunition, Kuwaiti officials said Thursday. The suspects may have been planning to use the weapons for future attacks, the officials said. Another American was injured in the January 21 ambush, which happened as the two contract workers were driving on the main road leading from the U.S. military’s Camp Doha. Police this week found the weapons — which included several pistols, machine guns and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher — in two houses and a mosque south of Kuwait City, according to the officials.
