A 25-year-old Kuwaiti man who supported al Qaeda confessed Thursday to an ambush that killed an American working for the U.S. military in Kuwait and wounded another, the official news agency KUNA said. It quoted the interior ministry as saying Sami Mohammed al-Mutairi confessed to Tuesday’s attack. Police had found the gun used in the ambush at his place of work, KUNA added. “He confessed that he had adopted the ideology of al Qaeda,” the agency said.
