US Congressman Darrell Issa urged Hizbullah on Tuesday to reveal the fate of four Israelis it captured in 2000 and allow the Red Cross to visit them. Issa, a Lebanese-American who had previously lobbied Hizbullah to abandon its military activities to avoid becoming a target of the US-led “war on terrorism,” said the group could garner greater international legitimacy by allowing Red Cross visits. “I came here only to see that those parties, who want to be seen as civilized in the world’s and America’s view, recognize that the Red Cross should be allowed to see and evaluate anyone who is held,” Issa told reporters after meeting with Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
