The National Police Agency (NPA) has launched its Cyber Force anti-hacker command centre to monitor computer attacks around the clock and gather intelligence about perpetrators, NPA officials said Tuesday 9 July . It will focus on hacking attempts against Japan`s main infrastructure, including financial institutions, aviation facilities, railways and government offices, they said. The Cyber Force consists of some 60 officers working in technology crime sections at the NPA and district police bureaus. They provide infrastructure administrators with information on hacking methods and tendencies. Full Story
