Russian cargo-plane crashes in South Sudan; at least 25 dead

“A Russian-made cargo plane crashed onto a river bank shortly after takeoff Wednesday from Juba airport in South Sudan, killing at least 25 people, including many on the the ground, according to media reports. Presidential spokesman Ateny Wek Ateny told Reuters the plane was carrying 18 people, including the six foreign crew, according to official documents. He said 15 of them died and three South Sudanese nationals survived, including a child.”
