Salisbury man gets 20 years for trying to join Islamic State

“The 44-year-old Salisbury man who in October admitted to trying to join a terrorist organization was sentenced to prison in U.S. District Court Wednesday in Greensboro. U.S. District Judge Thomas D. Schroeder sentenced Donald Ray Morgan to 20 years and three months in federal prison, according to a Department of Justice news release.”
