“Tourist arrivals in Kenya declined sharply in the first three months of the year amid increased attacks from the Al-Qaida affiliated terror group, the Al-Shabaab. The country received 177,085 tourists through its two main airports in Nairobi and Mombasa namely Jomo Kenyatta and Moi, which is a 31 percent decline compared to a similar period last year, latest data from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) shows.”
