Vladimir Putin has accused Ukraine of plotting terrorist attacks in Crimea and claimed two Russian servicemen were killed in clashes this week, as tensions over the peninsula rise to their highest level since Russia annexed it in 2014. Ukraine denied the alleged incidents had taken place and dismissed the claims as Russian provocation.
