29 killed in Congo ethnic violence

“Twenty-nine people have died in fighting between ethnically based armed groups in eastern Congo, activists say. Rebels belonging to the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) attacked a camp of the Popular Union for the Defence of the Innocent (UPDI) in the North Kivu province on Sunday, Edgar Mateso, a representative of civil society organisations in the region, said.”
