“Burkina Faso’s army says that suspected members of the former presidential guard broke into an armory west of the country’s capital. Army spokesman Guy Herve Ye said Friday that armed men attacked the warehouse of weapons outside of Ouagadougou around 3 a.m. He said they’re believed to be elements of the presidential guard, which staged a short-lived coup in September.”
