Yemen at Risk of Balkanization, U.N. Human-Rights Chief Says

“Fighting in the last nine months has killed more than 2,700 civilians. The state of Yemen faces permanent fragmentation if the conflict is not ended soon, U.N. human-rights chief Prince Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein warned the Security Council on Tuesday, just two days after U.N.-sponsored peace talks between warring parties broke down over cease-fire violations.”
