Brennan’s biggest fear: Cyberattack on US critical infrastructure

“While preventing terrorist activity in the form of a bombing or shooting has been a top concern for the CIA in recent years, CIA Director John Brennan said threats to the homeland from the cyber domain keep him up at night.

‘That cyber environment can pose a very, very serious and significant attack vector for our adversaries if they want to take down our infrastructure, if they want to create havoc in transportation systems, if they want to do great damage to our financial networks,’ said Brennan in an interview that aired on ’60 Minutes’ Feb. 14.
