Panel Description: Twenty years ago, the first cyber threat intelligence company was launched. What was once an obscure business idea based upon Presidential Decision Directive 63, has now developed into an essential component of cyber risk management. This panel of experts from the leading cyber-threat companies will explore what the industry got right and wrong and how cyber-threat intelligence will evolve over the next decade.
Jen Havermann is the Chief Operations Officer, NSA/CSS Representative, National Cyber Range (NCR) – US CYBERCOM. Prior to her time with the NSA, Havermann was a Deloitte client relationship executive located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. She led client relationships, strategy, and business development for Deloitte Central Maryland, including the intelligence community and Department of Defense clients within the community. Jennifer has more than 30 years of experience in both industry and government as a practitioner and leader in many cyber disciplines. She holds a BS degree in information assurance, a network engineering certificate, and technical certifications including the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). She is an active volunteer in both the industry and community for STEM and cyber. (oreilly.com)
Matt Devost is a technologist, entrepreneur, and international security expert specializing in counterterrorism, critical infrastructure protection, intelligence, risk management, and cyber-security issues. Matt is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of OODA LLC. Previously, Matt co-founded the cyber security consultancy FusionX from 2010-2017. Matt was President & CEO of the Terrorism Research Center/Total Intel from 1996-2009. He has also held executive positions at iDefense, iSIGHT Partners, Accenture, and Tulco.
