Terror checks on airliners root out hijack suspects

“British security officials have ordered the removal of ‘a handful’ of people from passenger flights heading to the UK in the past year, over fears that they would blow up the airliners or hijack them.
In a briefing on Wednesday, Charles Farr, Britain’s most senior anti-terrorism official, said the security services were dealing with ‘more threats, from more groups in more countries’ than ever before.”
