“A suicide bomber killed at least four people and wounded 36 on Saturday on an Istanbul street popular with tourists, officials said. Twelve of the wounded were foreign citizens, Turkey’s health minister said.
The explosion took place about 650 yards from Taksim Square, in the heart of Istanbul, on Istiklal Street, where there are cafes, restaurants and foreign consulate buildings. The street is usually busy, but relatively few people were in the area when the blast struck Saturday morning.”
