“Al shabaab has announced on Wednesday it executed two senior Somali officials by firing squad in a public execution in Barire village in Lower Shabelle region, pro-militants’ websites reported. Reports said Hundreds of residents, including women and children have watched the execution of Mararey administrator Osman Ma’ani and a security force member who have been held captive by Al shabaab for weeks.”
