Occupy protesters disrupt West Coast ports

“Protesters chanting, “Whose port? Our port!” marched on ports in Oakland and Long Beach in California on Monday, part of a planned effort to shut down shipping facilities along the West Coast.
The protesters, affiliated with the nationwide “Occupy” movement, set out in the pre-dawn hours in Oakland, Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon, to shut down ports in an effort to “disrupt the economic machine that benefits the wealthiest individuals and corporations,” according to organizers.”
