“JPMorgan Chase, the US’s largest bank, has posted profits down by 6.6%, dragged lower by legal costs.

The bank paid almost $1bn (£659m) in costs due to a range of investigations into alleged wrongdoing, and had set aside more money to cover bad debts.”
