France is on schedule to deliver two Mistral carriers, valued at €1.4 billion, to the Russian Navy. The first Mistral—a high-tech amphibious assault ship capable of deploying helicopters and tanks—is due to arrive in Russia by the end of the year, according to DCNS, the French firm building the vessels.”
