An unknown actor has obtained unauthorized access to T-Mobile systems containing the private data of over 1 million customers, the company has announced, adding that it quickly shut down the access and subsequently informed all affected customers.
The breach occurred earlier this month and exposed the full names, billing addresses, phone numbers, account numbers and subscription information of impacted customers. T-Mobile has so far declined to provide additional information about the incident and the exposed data.
