29% of risk managers consider cybersecurity the no. 1 threat to their organization, a higher number than for any other risk category, a recent survey by ISACA shows. Cybersecurity was followed at a distance by reputational risks (15%) and financial risks (13%).
Many risk managers fear that they are failing to keep up with rapidly evolving cyber threats and believe that the risk posed by those threats is growing. For 2020, one-third (33%) consider cybersecurity to be the top threat. 41% of survey respondents indicated that cybersecurity assessment is challenging, while only 24% think this is true for compliance assessment.
