Nearly half (48%) of organizations say they don’t have sufficient visibility into the data they process, which can put these organizations at risk of sophisticated attacks according to a new SANS Institute survey. The study also highlights several common issues that prevent companies from protecting themselves against advanced threats, including difficulties with establishing baselines for normal user behavior and shortcomings in terms of funding and resources.
When it comes to securing cloud environments, almost 55% of companies are having problems because their security tools are not sufficiently integrated with their cloud infrastructure, while 43% say they don’t have enough insight into attacks targeting their cloud environments.
