Personal security and national security concerns are back on the rise
A new report by Unisys sheds light on the personal, Internet, financial and national security concerns of Americans. The research shows that people are most concerned about their online security and financial security. However, concern in these areas stayed the same compared to last year’s report, while worries about national security somewhat increased and concern about personal security rose significantly
The survey shows that the vast majority of people understand the risks of using public Wi-Fi, with 81% of people indicating that they worry about data theft when connecting to Wi-Fi at public events and 78% expressing concerns about cybercriminals steal their credit card information in such a scenario.
