Lab Dookhtegan, the mysterious group that leaked hacking tools and information relating to the state-backed Iranian hacking group APT34 (aka OilRig, HelixKitten) in April, published a new Iranian hacking tool on Monday.
Jason is a graphical user interface (GUI) program that can be used to carry out dictionary-based cracking attacks on Microsoft Exchange email servers. Unlike the previous tools leaked by Lab Dookhtegan, Jason has so far not been detected in real world attacks. Over the past weeks, Lab Dookhtegan has also leaked the names and other personal details of various Iranian intelligence agents.
