KnowBe4 has released a new report detailing how organizations are dealing with the rising threat of cybercrime. The research shows that 95% of organizations are worried about the consequences of a potential data breach, while the top security concern of 92% of organizations is negligent users falling victim to a phishing attack.
The report also found that although 93% of organizations know that cybercriminals are taking advantage of login credentials that have been compromised in previous breaches, companies are struggling to address this problem. Moreover, 64% of organizations are having a hard time achieving GDPR compliance, even though the notorious EU privacy law entered into force in May of last year.
Some of the security struggles of organizations can be traced back to lack of funding, as 3 out of 4 organizations indicate that their security budget is too limited.
